Diane flew back to Nebraska for the wedding of a good friend of hers. The Weckle family (minus one) was briefly reunited.

Diane's Small Group/Bible Study

Diane is auditing "Spiritual Formation" with me and for class we were put into small groups to spend the semester learning about a spiritual discipline. Both Diane's and my group is going through a workbook on Contemplative Bible Reading (sometimes called Lectio Divina). We are both enjoying our groups very much. These are the girls in Diane's small group. From left to right: Amanda, Mi Suk, Diane, Sondra. 

Good Indian Cookin'

Our blessed friend Lindsey Eshcol from Iowa visited for the weekend and shared her culinary skills as an Indian master chef making some chicken curry, chapatis, and tomato raita. Seated clockwise starting with us: Caleb, Diane, Nathan, Julia, Lindsey, Amy, and Steve. 

Bell Hall

This is a picture of the front of our apartment building. It is a pretty big building so this is just the middle section of it. We are on the second floor above the main entrance (shown here) but on the opposite side of the hall.

Here is a shot from the living room of the kitchen. Notice the beautiful hanging pots and pans. Yours truly cut, stained, varnished and installed the wood and hooks (without screwing anything into the wall).
