Diane and I in "The Flume" in the White Mountains of the Presidential Range in New Hampshire. Technically, a flume is a narrow gorge, usually with a stream flowing through it. This is only a couple of miles from the famous "Old Man on the Mountain". Ironically, the stone cliff known as the old man on the mountain was put on the New Hampshire US quarters only a few months before it fell off during a storm in July of 2003.
